Thomas Baty Life story
Thomas Baty, also known by the name Irene Clyde, was an English transgender writer, lawyer and expert on international law who spent much of their career working for the Imperial Japanese government. In 1909, they published Beatrice the Sixteenth, a utopian science fiction novel, set in a postgender society.
