About Thorondir
Born in year 2782 of the Third Age, Thorondir became the twenty-second ruling-Steward of Gondor. He was the son of the Steward Belecthor II. Thorondir became steward upon his father's death in year 2872. Curiosly, when Belecthor II died, the White Tree of Gondor also died.
