About Tintin And I
In 1971, the late Belgian cartoonist Hergé sat for a four-day interview with student Numa Sadoul. This documentary uses the original tapes and interviews with fans to analyze Hergé's life and work. Born Remy Girard in 1907, Hergé becomes famous for creating Tintin, the cartoon journalist whose adventures last nearly 40 years. Becoming interested in right-wing politics under the influence of religious mentor Norbert Wallez, Hergé is accused of being a Nazi collaborator after World War II ends.
