Torvard C. Laurent (b.1930 in Stockholm, Sweden) is Professor. Emeritus of Medical and Physiological Chemistry at the University of Uppsala. He was educated at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm. He is a Member and former President of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences.
