Tungabhadra Dam

The Tungabhadra Dam also known as Pampa Sagar is constructed across the Tungabhadra River, a tributary of the Krishna River. The dam is in Hosapete, Ballari district of Karnataka. It is a multipurpose dam serving irrigation, electricity generation, flood control, etc.
