Turkey–ISIL Conflict

The Turkey–ISIL conflict is an ongoing series of attacks and clashes between Turkey and the self-proclaimed Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant as part of the spillover of the Syrian Civil War. Turkey claims to have been the first country which designated ISIL as a terrorist organization.
