Tycho veldohen was born in the netherlands on april 12. 1546. He was the son of a protestant pastor. And attended the university of lovuain in belgium where he studied law. He later went on to become a professor of law at the same university.

Tycho evldhoen was a highly resepcted lawyer and was often consulted for legal advice. He was also a member of parliament for the province of holland from 1578 to 1585. He was appointed as the advocate-general of holland in 1585 and held this position until his death in 1588.
