About Uco Valley
The Uco Valley lies along the Tunuyán River, south of Mendoza city in western Argentina. It's a prominent wine-growing region, known particularly for its Malbec red wines. Provincial Route 89, also known as the Wine Road, runs along the valley past vineyards and wineries. Toward the north, the town of Tupungato has views of the snow-capped Tupungato Volcano and the Andes Mountains to the west.
