About USS Rich
USS Rich was a Gearing-class destroyer in the United States Navy during the Korean War and the Vietnam War. She was the second ship named in honor of Lieutenant Ralph McMaster Rich, who was awarded the Navy Cross for his leadership as a naval aviator aboard USS Enterprise during the Battle of Midway.
