Uwe Dassler Life story
Uwe Daßler, commonly spelled Uwe Dassler in English, is a former middle- and long-distance swimmer from Germany, who represented East Germany in international competition. He was European champion in the 400-metre freestyle in 1985 and 1987. At the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea, Dassler won three medals.
