V. S. O. P. was an American jazz quintet consisting of Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Ron Carter, Tony Williams and Freddie Hubbard. Hancock, Shorter, Carter, and Williams had all been members of the Miles Davis Quintet during the 1960s.
