Václav Jícha Life story
Vaclav (Venda) Jicha, DFC AFC, Czech Pilot. Vaclav Jicha was born in Czechoslovakia, in Dnesice, on 10th February 1914. Interested in flying from an early age, he gained his pilot's licence in 1933. He soon became a well-known figure on the club flying scene but was conscripted into the army in 1935.
