Van Morrison

Sir George Ivan Morrison OBE, known professionally as Van Morrison, is a Northern Irish singer, musician and songwriter whose recording career spans seven decades.

Early Life of Van Morrison

Van morrison was born on august 1945 in belfast. Northern irelandh. E grew up with his parents and siblings in the protestant working-class neighbourhood of bloomfield. He began palying the harmonica and guitar at an early age and was influenced by blues. Jazz. And country music. At the age of 16. He formed a band called "the monarchs" and began performing in local clubs.

In 1964. Van morrison released his first solo album. "blowin your mind!". In 1965. He joined the band them and released his second album. "them". He gained international fame after the release of his third album. "astral weeks". In 1968. His next two albums. "moondance" and "tupleo honey".
