About Visakha
Visakha was a wealthy aristocratic woman who lived in the ancient Indian kingdoms of Magadha and Kosala in the time of Gautama Buddha. She became known by the nickname Migāramāta, literally "Migāra's mother", after converting her father-in-law, a wealthy treasurer in Savatthi named Migara, to Buddhism.
