Warmia

Warmia is a historical region in northern Poland. It is now the core of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship. It has about 4,500 km² and 350,000 inhabitants. Its biggest city is Olsztyn, and the historical capital is Lidzbark Warmiński; in the past the largest town was Braniewo.
