About Wasanbon
Wasanbon is a fine-grained Japanese sugar, traditionally made in the Shikoku prefectures of Tokushima and Kagawa. The sugar is often used for Japanese sweets. The sugar is made from thin sugarcane plants grown locally in Shikoku, called taketō or chikusha.
