Wasey Sterry Life story
Wasey Sterry was acting Governor-General of Sudan in 1923, 1924 and again in 1925. His tenure coincided with some early manifestations of Sudanese Nationalism in the form of the White Flag League although other than a minor mutiny in the wake of the assassination of Sir Lee Stack, it was quickly contained.
