Wenshan District

Wenshan District is a serene area with Taipei Zoo, home to Asiatic black bears and lions. Terraced tea fields and teahouses fill the district's Maokong area, which offers sweeping city views and hiking routes, and is reached by the Maokong Gondola. National Chengchi University students hang out at Jingmei Night Market, whose food stalls sell Taiwanese delicacies such as bao steamed buns and pig's blood cake.
