About West Bali National Park
West Bali National Park is on the northwestern tip of Bali. The conservation area includes the mountainous Prapat Agung Peninsula and the surrounding coastal waters. Forests, mangroves and savanna protect rare animals like Bali starlings and bantengs, a species of wild cattle. Off the northeast shore of the peninsula, Menjangan Island is ringed by coral reefs and home to native barking deer and ancient Hindu temples.
