About White City
White City was a recreational area located in the Greater Grand Crossing and Woodlawn community areas on the south side of Chicago from 1905 until the 1950s. At the time of its opening, on May 26, 1905, it was claimed to be the largest park of its type in the United States.

police are investigating what they say is the UK's largest ever drugs conspiracy 13 men have been charged.
the charges Of conspiracy to import drugs following a National Crime Agency investigation into the alleged smuggling of billions of pounds of cocaine, heroin and cannabis.
The NCA said The Men were suspected members of an international organised crime group.
The Group appeared at the Manchester Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
It Comes after The Men , aged 34 to 59, were arrested dawn raids on Tuesday in London, Manchester, Stockport, St Helens, Warrington,, Bolton,, Dewsbury, and Leeds.
The NCA, said Seven Men were charged with four of the points of the conspiracy to import Class A drugs and four counts of conspiracy to import class B drugs.
