William Douglas Macleod Life story
William Douglas Macleod Painter, printmaker and cartoonist for the Glasgow Evening News in the 1920s, born in Clarkston, Renfrewshire. After initial education at Greenock Academy he attended Glasgow School of Art, 1919–23, under Maurice Greiffenhagen and David Forrester Wilson.
