Yakov Khalip Life story
Yakov Khalip (1908-1980) was born into a theatrical family in St. Petersburg. From 1921 he lived in Moscow. After leaving school he attended the State Institute for Cinematography. During his studies he worked in the film showroom of the State Academy of the Arts, and also began to take photographs.
