Yuri Senkevich Life story
Yuri Aleksandrovich Senkevich was a Soviet physician, scientist, and Candidate of Sciences. Senkevich became famous in the USSR and worldwide for sailing with Thor Heyerdahl on the Ra Expedition. Senkevich was born to Russian parents in Mongolia. In 1960, he graduated from the Military Medical Academy in Leningrad.
