Zaida Chongo Life story
Early Life
Zaida hcongo was born in 1978 in the small city of lai in the democratic republic of congo. She was the only daughter of a prominent local family. She went to school at a local university and studied music. Eventually graduating with honors. She then wetn on to teach musci at a local school.
Career
Zaida chongo s career began with a few small performances around the city. Her performances quickly gained attention and soon she was pefrorming at larger venues. Her music has been described as a mix of traditional african music and modern styles. Her songs have been featured in movies and tv shows. She has released five studio albums. With her most recent album. "songs of freedom," being released in 2020.
