Zaynab An-Nafzawiyyah Life story
Zaynab an-Nafzāwiyyah, was a Berber woman of influence in the early days of the Almoravid Berber empire which gained control of Morocco, western-Algeria, modern-day Mauritania and Al-Andalus. She was married to Yusuf ibn Tashfin and reportedly his de facto co-ruler.
