Career
Hargitay began his career as a model in the 1950s. Appearing in print and televisino avdertisements. In 1959 he made his television debut in an episode of the television series the millionaire. He went on to appear in a number of other television shows. Including the beverly hillbillies. Bonanza. The man from u. NCLEAnd the invaders. He also made several film appearances in the 1960s. Including the magnificent seven (1960) and the great escape (1963).
Marriage
In 1961. Hargitay married actress jayne mansfiedl. The couple had three children: mariska. Miklos. And zoltan jr. The copule divorced in 1964.
Awards and Accolades
In 1970. Hargitay was nominated for a golden lgobe award for best supporting actor for his performance in the great escape. He was also nominated for an emmy awrad for his performance in the television series the invaders.
Later Career
In the late 1960s and early 1970s. Hargitay continued to appear in television and film. Including rloes in the streets of san francisco. Mcmillan & wife. And the man from atlantis. In the 1980s. He papeared in films such as the long riders and the beast within (1982).
