About Zygorhiza
Zygorhiza is an extinct genus of basilosaurid early whale known from the Late Eocene of Louisiana, Alabama, and Mississippi, United States, and the Bortonian to the late Eocene of New Zealand. Specimens reported from Europe are considered Dorudontinae incertae sedis.
