Blumenau

Blumenau is a city in southern Brazil. German-style half-timbered buildings line XV de Novembro Street, site of an annual Oktoberfest parade. At one end of the street, the Beer Museum exhibits equipment from the city's brewing history. The Hering Museum tells the story of the city's famed clothing manufacturer. To the north, Itoupava Village is a farming community that preserves the culture of German immigrants.
