Akkuş
Akkuş is a town and a district of Ordu Province in the Black Sea region of Turkey. According to the 2000 census, population of the district is 49,799 of which 8,768 live in the town of Akkuş. The district covers an area of 763 km², and the town lies at an elevation of 1,313 m.
