Aracaju
Aracaju is the capital of Sergipe state on Brazil's northeast coast. It's known for its beaches, including the central Praia de Atalaia. By the beach, the turtle-shaped Oceanário de Aracaju aquarium has stingrays, sharks, eels and sea turtles, plus hands-on exhibits. The beachfront promenade, Passarela do Caranguejo, is lined with seafood restaurants and marked by a huge sculpture of a crab.
