Bramcote

Bramcote in the Broxtowe district of Nottinghamshire about five miles west of Nottingham was a separate village, but is now a suburb of Greater Nottingham. One of the main roads between Nottingham and Derby used to pass through the old village centre, entering a steep-sided cutting, that formed a blind bend.
