Cashel
Cashel is a small town in the south of Ireland. It's known for the imposing Rock of Cashel, a medieval complex on a hilltop overlooking the town. This archaeological site includes a Gothic cathedral, a round tower and a 15th-century castle. Nearby, the museums at Cashel Folk Village explore such subjects as the Great Famine and the 1916 Easter Rising. The Brú Ború cultural centre hosts concerts and performances.
