Cilaos

Cilaos is a spa town in the center of Réunion Island, a French department in the Indian Ocean. Known for its hot springs and vineyards, the town is in the Cirque de Cilaos, a forested, rugged caldera. Towering above is the craggy Piton des Neiges, a dormant volcano and the island's highest peak. Waterfalls pour down steep chutes in the Fleurs Jaunes canyon. The Maison de la Broderie displays traditional embroidery.
