Sights around Plaça de les Glòries Catalanes include Els Encants flea market, futuristic Barcelona Design Museum and the Torre Agbar skyscraper, designed by Jean Nouvel. Dotted with ice-cream vendors, Bogatell Beach is a popular spot for volleyball.
