Fener

In lovely Fener, sidewalk cafes and European-Turkish bistros share the streets with old wooden houses and small, stately churches like the Saint Stefan Bulgarian Orthodox Church, made of cast iron, and the 7th-century Church of St. Mary of the Mongols. Along the waterfront, İbb Haliç Şair Nedim Parkı has walking paths and a ferry terminal, with connections down the Golden Horn and across to the city's Asian side.
