Gorodets is a town and the administrative center of Gorodetsky District in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, Russia, located on the left bank of the Volga River, 53 kilometers northwest of Nizhny Novgorod, the administrative center of the oblast. Population: 30,658; 32,442; 34,210; 34,000.
