Hiranai Ainu: ピラナィ, romanized: piranay is a town located in Aomori Prefecture, Japan and a part of the Aomori metropolitan area. As of 1 March 2020, the town had an estimated population of 10,836 in 4,915 households, and a population density of 50 persons per km².
