Jeypore
Jeypore was established by King Veer Vikrama Dev in 1648-49CE. It served as the capital of the erstwhile Kingdom of Jeypore ruled by the kings of Suryavansh 'Sankara' dynasty that covered an area of 36,259 km² and was the largest kingdom of Madras presidency.
