Junín de los Andes
Junín de los Andes is an Andean town in Argentina. It sits on northwest Patagonia's trout-filled Chimehuín River and is also a gateway to nearby lakes such as Lake Huechulafquen. The Mapuche Museum has archaeological finds and items reflecting native culture. To the southwest is the sprawling Lanín National Park, known for its araucaria trees and the ice-capped Lanín Volcano. Park wildlife includes pumas and condors.
