Nagahama
Nagahama is a city in central Japan. In the city center, Kurokabe Square is home to a striking black building that was once a bank. It now houses the Kurokabe Museum of Glass Art. The Narita Museum shows works by French glass artist René Lalique. On the shore of Lake Biwa, Nagahama Castle is a reconstruction of the 16th-century original. The surrounding Hō Park is known for its springtime apricot and cherry blossoms.
