Ottakring

The eastern half of Ottakring, the 16th District, has a multicultural, urban feel. Serbian cafes dot the “Balkan Mile” on Ottakringer Strasse, and Turkish food stalls line boisterous Brunnenmarkt street market. Nearby Yppenplatz is ringed by hip eateries, with outdoor seating in the square on warm days. Ottakring's west borders the Vienna Woods, where trails on Wilhelminenberg hill offer sweeping city views.
