Phetchaburi
Phetchaburi is a province in central Thailand bordering Myanmar (Burma) to the west and the Gulf of Thailand to the east. The dense rainforest of Kaeng Krachan National Park covers nearly half its area, offering hiking trails and camping. The capital, also called Phetchaburi, has been inhabited since the 8th century. Khao Wang is a 19th-century summer palace within a temple complex overlooking the city.
