Ponta Grossa
Ponta Grossa is a city in southern Brazil. It's known for Vila Velha State Park, home to towering sandstone formations, craterlike pits and pools like Lagoa Dourada. Northeast of the park, a waterfall gushes into the Buraco do Padre cave. A forest trail leads to nearby Mariquinha Waterfall. In the city, Campos Gerais Museum has fossils and indigenous artifacts.
