Quinta Normal

Largely residential, Quinta Normal is known for its namesake park, with tree-lined paths, paddle boats, and museums such as the National Museum of Natural History, displaying a whale skeleton, and the outdoor Railway Museum Santiago. In an 1889 glass-and-iron building, Artequin is an interactive art space aimed at kids. The Parque Fluvial Padre Renato Poblete, on the Mapocho River, is popular for jogging and cycling.
