Ramna

The administrative district of Ramna is home to colonial buildings like the University of Dhaka's grand Curzon Hall. The underground Museum of Independence, with exhibits on the 1971 liberation war, is beneath a glass tower within the green expanse of Suhrawardy Udyan. Coins, folk art, and natural history dioramas are on display at the Bangladesh National Museum. Tranquil Ramna Park has shaded paths skirting a lake.
