San Juan de los Lagos

San Juan de los Lagos is a town in the central-west Mexican state of Jalisco. Its baroque Basilica of Our Lady of San Juan de los Lagos is a pilgrimage site, housing a sacred image of the Virgin. The neighboring Cihuapilli Museum has religious art related to the Virgin. Nearby, the neoclassical Town Hall dates from the mid-18th century. The Pocito del Primer Milagro Chapel has paintings by Rubens.
