Tây Ninh Province
Tây Ninh, a province in southern Vietnam bordered by Cambodia, is known as the birthplace of the Cao Đài religion. In the village of Long Hòa, the colorful Cao Đài Temple, decorated with the Divine Eye symbol, offers several ceremonies a day. Stretching up from the Mekong Delta with a view of rice paddies is Núi Bà Đen (Black Virgin Mountain), where pagodas dot the many trails and cable cars lead to its summit.
