Wollaton
The affluent suburb of Wollaton is known for its namesake park, with a lake, woodland trails, and rolling pastures where red and fallow deer roam free. The park centres on Wollaton Hall, a lavish Elizabethan mansion housing a natural history museum, as well as grand Tudor-era rooms that can be visited on guided tours. In the 17th-century stables, Nottingham Industrial Museum has working steam engines and lace looms.
