San Juan

San Juan

San Juan is a valley city east of the Andes Mountains, in west-central Argentina. In the center, the Casa Natal de Sarmiento is the birthplace of 19th-century president and writer Domingo Faustino Sarmiento. Nearby, the Museo Provincial de Bellas Artes Franklin Rawson features paintings by Argentinean and European artists. The Agustín Gnecco Provincial Historical Museum showcases local coins, stamps and furniture.
