Captiva is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Lee County, Florida, United States. It is located on Captiva Island. As of the 2010 census the population was 583, up from 379 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Cape Coral-Fort Myers, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area.
